WHITECHAPEL: Milwaukee Concert To Be Webcast
October 5, 2010On Tuesday, October 19, TheRave.com will be streaming Knoxville, Tennessee death metal band WHITECHAPEL live in concert from The Rave/Eagles Club in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. IMPENDING DOOM, MISS MAY I, OCEANO, and I DECLARE WAR are also scheduled to be part of the show and the live webcast. The worldwide broadcast will begin at 7:30 p.m. ET (6:30 p.m. CT/4:30 p.m. PT/11:30 p.m. GMT). The concert is also scheduled to be rebroadcast at a later date to be determined.

WHITECHAPEL's third album, "A New Era Of Corruption", sold around 10,600 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 43 on The Billboard 200 chart. Released on June 8 via Metal Blade Records, the CD was recorded at Audiohammer studios in Sanford, Florida with acclaimed producer Jason Suecof (TRIVIUM, ALL THAT REMAINS, THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, CHIMAIRA, DEVILDRIVER).
WHITECHAPEL's previous album, "This Is Exile", opened with 5,900 copies in July 2008 to land at No. 117.
Handling artwork for "A New Era Of Corruption" was Brent Elliot White, who previously worked with JOB FOR A COWBOY and CARNIFEX. "Brent absolutely nailed it," states Alex. "The dark and ominous vibe he portrayed with his art fits the mood of the CD perfectly."
"A New Era Of Corruption" features guest vocals from Vincent of THE ACACIA STRAIN on the track "Murder Sermon" and Chino from the DEFTONES on the track "Reprogrammed to Hate".
WHITECHAPEL's "The Darkest Day Of Man" was filmed in April by famed metal video director David Brodsky of MyGoodEye.
